2017 Spring Dance Concert Preview

Spring Dance Concert 2017 opens Friday night, 7:30-9:30 p.m. in Lick’s Ehrer Theater and repeats Saturday, 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Due to this year’s extensive number of Lick dances across all dances groups: D1, D2, Dance Ensemble and Dance Company, the performance will be spread across two nights. The Friday concert will feature different numbers than Saturday night.

When asked about the senior solos, Dance Momma, Gianni Martinez ‘17 described them as the closing chapter for all the senior’s high school dance careers. Each piece will present a unique style that they’ve cultivated over their years at Lick. One can expect passionate dances and a few tears on Friday and Saturday night.

D1 teaching assistant and member of Lick’s dance company Eric Garcia ‘17, gives us his thoughts on his last concert at Lick, “This concert’s definitely been one of the more stressful concerts I’ve been apart of, but it’s certainly going to pay off in terms of emotion and performance onstage tonight. I’m excited to perform for the last time at Lick, and I’m incredibly grateful for my classmates, the dance program, and Zoe Fyfe for all their support and encouragement over the past four years”

Student tickets are $5, Adult Tickets will be selling for $7. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
