Playlist of the Week: Anna Lea

“This was an interesting process. I went to my iTunes library and started scrolling through artists. If I approached this by looking at the library categorized by songs, then I perhaps would have chosen a completely different list. I pulled the artists that caught my eye – whose names, voices, and instrumentation have been a part of my life at one time or another. I weaned those artists down to ten, and then went through their albums and listened to snippets of songs. I clicked through rather quickly, waiting for a familiar beat or voice that brought out an immediate reaction: a memory, a feeling, a dance move. So, here they are, in no unique order:”
